March Update

Why can't I find the time to update this shit!?!?! I don't even know. It's not like I'm super busy, I'm just super ass lazy I guess...

Alrightee, anywhos!... So not following with my entry intentions of a little updates at a time... Only because since last post a lot of shit happened and I'll just cram it all in here...

First off! I hit 2k M+ rating!!!! friggen sweet! I was giving up on it for a long while but I have such awesome people in my guild that they didn't let me push this achievement to the side. Shut up Skully, we're getting you that 2K rating, mount and achievement. They're so sweet! and Bam! 2K came easy. I think the 2400 rating will elude me this season. I'm ok with it... maybe, don't quote me on that. Why? cuz it comes with fully upgrading my gear (13/13). The 2K gave me 12/13 which I'm ok with 411 IL gear... The pessimist in me says it won't matter.. my IL can go up but my damage is gonna stay shitty like usual, but oh well.

My 2K Team: Stank, Shifty, Me, Truth, Chris

My team that helped me hit the 2K was Chris, Truth, Stank, and Shifty. I mean a lot of other people helped me along the way. Cal, Gore, Nez, Forty, Mohawk, and all the pugs. I would say Elo too, but I haven't been doing higher M+ keys with him that gave me rating. But I do run rat keys with him and he's been raiding with us on his many awesome toons so I still get to play with him and we still have fun like the old days! <3 Well actually "like the old days" would just be he and I playing together. I didn't have a guild, and he was my only WoW friend. It was quiet, but nice. 

But I do enjoy my guild now. However, if I will be honest, I do see myself playing solo again sometime in the future. Not because I'm gonna /gquit, but just the fact that people come and go, people with actual real lives stop playing and I don't see myself stopping, or rather letting that stop me. I will enjoy this game no matter who I play with now that falls off. Deep down, I am a solo player I guess. 

Alright moving on cuz that some negative shit right there lol. OK! Pic to the right... 400 mount achieve baby!!!! Same as the others... meh! only cuz it don't fly. 500 seems like such a long ways away. I'm sitting at 410, ugh!... but the mount is a Spectral Ottuk mount that flys to boot. geez!!! I'll prolly get that, never!
Another HUGE mount I got! Friggen Blanchy! honestly was easier to get then I thought. I didn't really check to see exactly how to get it during Shadowlands. I only recently checked and guides said to get all the items then do your 6 day camping and I did just that. Actually no I'm a liar! I totally missed reading the part that I have to go and fill up one of the items (the empty bucket) with some special ass water you can only get in certain places. This was an especially fail whale moment for me as it was the fastest spawn I had of her (less then 5 minutes) when I landed to camp, then realized I needed to fill the bucket when I couldn't complete the task when I clicked on her. fail! SO! I went to fill up the bucket and flew my salty ass back to camp it again. Spawned 1 hour and 6 minutes from when she spawned earlier. Guides did say 1-2 hours so that checked out. Such a cool looking mount.
Darn it! I totally forgot to take a screen shot of my New LK Timewalking mount the Ironbound Wraithcharger. 5K Timewalking tokens I collected during all the timewalking not spending anything and waiting till LK TW rolled round again, I actually have enough to buy another TW mount too. I'm saving it for Panda TW. I want Yu'lei, Daughter of Jade mount. It's a glowey jade green cloud serpent. That's actually the first one I wanted, then I saw what the wraithcharger looked like and I passed up on buying it. But I really thought it would have taken me longer to get both. I wasn't expecting to be able to get it on the same TW rotation. Cata TW is next then Panda after that, so I'll have to wait for another 2 months, but it's OK, It's coming and I'm ready!... Take my tokens! I'm sure there are way more mounts and stuff I wanted to add but this is all I got screenies of and I'm not gonna log back in just to go looking, or sift better through my screenshots.

And Lastly... and this one deserves an extra large, centered picture placement...
I finally got Tarecgosa's Rest staff. My many many times seeing people's image in Org ontop the illusion of Tarecgosa was such a huge desire I so badly wanted. The quest chain from start to finish took me several months. Sadly It really should have taken me sooner but I didn't know I could reset to the different difficulties and still collect the items I needed... Ugh! I need to stop kicking myself for that really... Cuz it's done, I did it, and..
I got my wish... Deadskully's image for all to see in Org above Grommash hold with Azure drakes flying around. Honoring such a beautiful dragon who sacrificed herself to save Kalecgos. I can now turn into her dragon form when I equip the staff that has been bonded with her essence.
yeah I'm a friggen nerd! Suck it! :-p

Ok well, apparently my initial excitement for getting this mount was completely in my head. I only say that because I'd imagine myself opening this edit entry page and typing my little heart away about my pink rocket excitement. Over 10 fuckin years of farming (missing I think like 2 years here and there) for this mount. I'd expect to have done this right away!. You bet your ass I got my screenshots in, I wasn't gonna miss that of course. And I have a really bad habit of not writing things at the time when they are fresh in that pink squishy thing in my skull.

But! I don't know why I am surprised. I've been slacking on a lot of things that used to once bring me so much joy. Not gonna disclose any of that shit here, that's what my RL blog is for I guess right? I not gonna taint my WoW with super depressing shit.
Anywhos! So yeah! On fuckin Valentines Day (2/14/23) The pink rocket finally dropped for me. I'm sure my heart jumped and I might have squee'd to myself and maybe ugly cried for a sec. All my years of not giving up, even when I thought wtf is the point! Even to the point this year I was gonna give up. I'm glad I didn't.

HOWEVER!!!!! I was willing to give up running all my alts in there and just doing it once as the new drop chance rule changed. And what do you know. The last day I ran it, it did indeed drop on Deadskully.
New guildmate is an extreme mount collector at over 600 mounts. Thats insane! but its cool. We've been farming it for the same amount of our wow life and we both got it this year, his came several days before mine! Yay us!

And finally...
My toon run calculation, just for the heck of it and that this is the last time I will ever be keeping track of the love rocket holiday boss kill... I ran this dungeon 107 times this year for the mount. I only say "for the mount" because I went in there many more times just to run with Elo and guildies on their alts which doesn't count for me. I'm sure I wanted to write more but I'll end it here.

Love Rocket woes

I need to come to terms with the fact that I will not be getting this mount.
I am trying so hard to get it I really am. So many alts I haven't even touched for a long while is now getting some play time, or rather got some play time. But I think after hearing the news I got today; I think I'll be cutting back on the toons I'm taking in there. 

The name is fitting, "X-45 Heartbreaker". This thing indeed is breaking my heart right now. The pic here to the right, I'll tell a story about it at the end of this entry, cuz it's kinda funny. It's just in here because it's the only pic I have right now of someone on the rocket. 

Ok first off, The Love is in the Air event started on the 6th and will go until the 20th of this month (February). I currently have 49 toons that I'm running through these. I have 58 toons total, but the baby one's I'm not bothering with. Like the last post said, I know I will not run them all in there everyday... and of course, I haven't been. I got good news on Monday before the event. Apparently they upped the drop chance of this mount. Friggen sweet I thought! Im gonna run the shit out of this holiday dungeon and get my mount guarantee.
Then today rolls around and my world has been shattered to pieces. The upped drop chance will only effect your first toon you run in there per day, per battle.net account. After your first run of the day, the drop chance goes back to how it was prior to the increase if you choose to run it on alts. Oh for fuck sake!  Why am I even gonna bother running more than one toon. 

Super discouraged right now. On Tuesday, I ran 36 toons in there... 36!!!! what a fuckin psycho!

After hearing this news, my motivation is so shot. I mean there is no difference in the subsequent runs I'll be doing, but I think it's just knowing the fact that the rate is changed but I've farmed this so long I really don't see myself getting. I need to just stop crying about it. 

Dear Blizzard. I've been a loyal customer all these years. I don't ask for much, but I just want this rocket. To be honest I don't know why. If I do get it, I'ma just take a bunch of screenies and not ride it again. BUT just to have it will be very appreciated.

And finally that screenshot. I saw a Nelf DH on the pink rocket and I  "/cheer (d)" him. we exchanged emotes back and forth and then I left. Next day I saw him again and  "/wave"(d) at him. THEN I get a whisper from someone "Do I know you?". I said "I dont think so" then he proceeds to ask me why have I been waving at his alliance toon, and he told me it's name. Then I just told him , cuz I liked his rocket. We chatted for a bit and then he logged back onto his Ally toon. Nice dude. lucky MF'er.

Small Sunday Update

Alright... late update but hey, it's getting done.
Finally broke 1700 for my M+ rating. Really the only thing I'm excited about that is another level of gear upgrade was unlocked with that. As far as getting KSM this season, not super pushing like I was the end of last expac. I think it has a lot to do with the mount itself. Last season's Deathwalkers were so cool looking and they flew. This expansion's Armoredons are meh to me. I mean hello?, it is a mount and I should be salivating at that in itself, BUT, naw. I'm good. OR hello? it's an awesome achievement and another gear upgrade unlocks with the 2K rating. UGH! dammit now I have to push to get it. Goodness... so wishy washy huh...

Alright! enough of KSM. SO! My vault for Tuesday hopefully will bring me a nice 411 piece from the 15 we did. Missed timer by less than a minute, so I got it for vault, but not for the 15 key achievement. WTF EVER!!! 4 Bosses on heroic raid so 2 vault options for I believe has 402 gear, and the 12 for the next mythic vault slot I wanna say that was 405. I could use chest, bracers, belt, ring please!

Next awesome thing here. I hit maxed renowned with all the 4 major Dragonflight factions super excited about that! However, I really don't see the need to keep doing the rep grind for the overflowing rep bags. They have crap in them! I got 3 so far and I heard somewhere that there is chance to get a spark... A fuckin SPARK are you kidding me!?!?!? But I have yet to see one and all I've gotten was dragon isle supplies, cheapo potions, pet battle stuff and artifacts to turn in for more weak ass rep. Ugh! oh and about 1k gold. that's prolly the best thing in there really. 

Alright now! Love is in the air starts tomorrow... and please please Blizz let me get my Love Rocket this year. I'm hoping they will let me take non maxed toons in there. I'm sure they will... or at least level 50. I have so much toons at 50 it would be a huge shame if I can't run them. 

This psycho already has her excel tracker ready to go! I believe it's 48 toons I can run in there. I know I will not run them everyday, but I need the tracker cuz unless I'm spamming them all at one time, one after another, I know I will stop and pick it up later in the day and forget who I ran. I just hope really get it...
Also I'm still on my trek for Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest so I have to continue with Firelands. 

And finally, I'm super bummed, tomorrow starts Gen Ed on zoom. 6pm-10pm. Thats usually the time everyone in the guild plays especially raiding. So I can't make Thursday raids. But I did ask if they could stream it and I'll watch while in class. Just to have it on and quietly cheering my boys on is all I can do for the next 16 weeks. Starting to get me sad... OK I'll stop thinking about it, getting depressed over here :-(

New mounts

I did get a couple more mounts since the last time I wrote in here but I'll just post 3 of the big ones.
FIRST! Son of Galleon!
Geez this one was such a relief! I mean I have done the Panda world bosses on majority of my toons even after they upped the drop chance and I finally got this one to go along with the one from Nalak I got recently. Fricken sweet!!! Super happy here!

Next is the Abyss worm from Tomb of Sargeras raid from Legion. I only go in there for this mount and like Antorus, I run them 3 times each. All 3 difficulties N/H/M. and finally got this to drop for me. I can't wait till I get the mount from the Dogs cuz that one too is far to travel for it. But the dog mount looks soooo cool I really want it!!!

And finally, this is not a drop but when you hit Renowned 30 with the Tuskarr people, you can buy this. I love this thing so much! Battle Ottuk!!!

I don't like all the crap on it. I want a naked otter I don't know why... maybe because I don't want this little guy to look like he's struggling while he's running.

So this is my latest progress to my 400 mounts! 394... 6 more baby! I'm still debating on either when I get in the 2 or 3 range if I should just go buy some off the Blizz store...We'll see :-) lol
but anyways... its super late and I'm super tired.

Some girls in wow

I know I've talked about this on several occasions but what brought this back to my mind and nerves to be honest was a run I did the other day.
If someone thinks or assumes all WoW players are dudes that is completely fine by me. I'm not gonna correct any randos on my gender and I definitely aint gonna make them feel bad for the assumption. You don't hurt my feelings if you think I'm a dude. Besides what the fuck does it even matter when you running a pug key? You ain't ever gonna talk to these peeps again. GTFO.  You do your job in our run and I don't give a flying fuck if you got a vagina or not. I mean to be honest it could have been a dude trollin too, one never knows. BUT! I guess I got trolled cuz it annoyed the crap outta me.
here's what happened: Mage pulled something by accident, died and released instead of waiting for rez on a long walk back... simple mistake right, not an issue cuz I can just put a closet. Tank (whose key it was) got mad and called him dumb for releasing. mage goes "sorry man, it was an accident" Tank says "I'm not a guy dumbass"
Ok so this was doubly irritating... not only was she correcting him for calling her a dude, she was a bitch too. It was a 5 SBG key calm the fuck down. I wish I got screenshots of this convo. They went back and forth it was so fuckin childish. I just ran it cuz I just needed a little more valor to be capped and SBG is the easiest imo. I wanted to break this bitch's key so bad, BUT that is NOT a Skully thing to do. Maybe I should have to teach her a lesson. Needless to say we 2 chested it and I came away with a trink I'm sure majority of them could have used, but I was so annoyed with the whole run I just wanted outta there. Left group after looting chest and hearthed out.
When chicks are awesome WoW players and humble as shit, that's what I love. Don't rock the boat with your feminist shit. Might not be good to say considering I am a chick. But so what! I can't stand that shit especially with randoms. Like I said earlier, mind yo business, do your job, if others assume something then let em. I don't know if it would have bothered me as much if she wasn't such an asshole, but that was just the tipping point for my opinion. Ugh! ok my bitchy rant is done! 

I messed up...

Several things this past couple weeks I messed up on... 
The first thing and I think the biggest was gems for my lariat just yesterday. The Illimited Diamond itself was friggen expensive and this idiot bought 3!!!! Why 3?... well there is 3 sockets right? so of course I'm gonna think I can plug them ALL in. Nope! only one Primalist diamond can be plugged in at a time... WTF!?!?!? As I do, I don't read things first, research the minimum but overlook simple reading of things that are important. Fail whale for sure! But at least I got my Primalist gem socketed so I won't get crap about it anymore :-P
I still have to find a Lariat recraft to R5. Hopefully Cptsnuggs can do it for me. 
On the same note of the Unique socketed gem, A while ago I did the same thing with crafted gear. I Made or had made pieces but got denied when trying to equip them. WTF!!! lols. Right now I have my Lariat and ring, both Best in Slot... and I wanted my BiS weapon made but can't due to the restriction. Ugh so annoyed! But I'm glad I remembered about that before I actually got it made like a fool!.
I don't have a screenie for the next thing I messed up on, but just know that saying I've messed this up so much is an understatement. I'm on a mission to get Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest Legendary Staff. I was stuck on the one where you need to go to Firelands and get the 4 charged gems. I struggled so much on Beth'tilac. Guides were telling me to disconnect for 5 to 10 minutes after you drop your gem before she dies or some shit... nah, I'm not gonna do all that rubbish... Anywhos, I finally got my charged gem yesterday and the next part is super easy but will take me 3 weeks to a month to collect the stuff I need. N and H runs will need to be done, I can collect in both.
And the last thing I messed up on... I got attached more then I should have... and we'll just leave it at that.

My Renowned rep is coming along nicely. Oh cripes! that's another thing I guess you could say I messed up on. Only the past 3 weeks I have been using faction contracts. If I used them from the beginning I prolly would have been higher on some of the rep. First one I used was Valdrakken Accord, then I used the Artisan Consortium for crafting peeps rep, and this past week I popped on the Dragonscale Expedition mainly to unlock the next quest line. I believe they unlock at 24... hopefully... I might be totally wrong on that. Iskaara Tuskarr rep I get because I make sure I do my fishing dailies and fish turn-ins every week. I really want an ottuk mount. Those things are super cute, but I don't really want one with armor and shit all over it... I want a plain naked one! And the Valdrakken rep is easy cuz there's so much stuff that gives that rep including all the Black Dragon stuff. Look, I'm almost 28 for them! YAY!

Alright and finally for this entry... I deleted my other 60 Drakthyr to make me this one. SisuRaya! named after the Girl and the Dragon from the Disney movie Raya and the Last Dragon. such a cute ass movie. I liked that one of the things you can put while designing your dragon is the bandage around the belly cuz in the movie Sisu gets shot in the belly... lol anyways, I'm weird I know.

Brown I got for free and then I had to buy the yellow one. I'm so happy!!!! It's so cute!
