Mid - July Post

Heyo! I'm not dead! Well Skully is undead sooo....
Alright anyways! I'm gonna try to get this out. 6 month no post break. No particular reason why. Did lots of stuff, and lots of stuff happened. Midnight expansion came out since, been doing everything from housing, keys, normal rep and quest grinds, and getting those achieves. Season 1 is almost done not really trying to push anything from now until then. I believe we have about a month till season 2, mid-August I think. I'm super excited for that. Well, I'm usually excited for new content, for some stuff more than others but I can't wait. The year is going by fast so it will come in no time.
Biggest thing I did was get my 3k io. Last time I did that was back in Dragonflight I believe. Hopefully I did blog about it before so after this I can actually go back and check. I had help from awesome people in the guild. Hit my 40k achievement points which I was very proud of. Of course it got easier when Midnight came out.

Guild went into the 3 raids and got the Glory if the Midnight Raider Achievement. Which gave is a cool Void Chimy mount.
I don't really have deep thoughts/feelings about having 4 separate "raids" this season. On one hand it's good for the guildies to get that cutting edge achievement for the guild, on the other we're not a "Cutting Edge" guild and in my opinion, It feels like everyone expects more.

Like yeah just because they got down 2 One boss raids on Mythic they'll expect/want to get them all down. The best shit is when people come in and claim they like the chill AOTC vibes cuz they don't really like to Mythic raid anymore anyways but then leave our raid team for a Mythic raid pushing guild then come back and expect your spot to still be there. I get it, you pay your sub, you play how you wanna play, but don't clam one thing and do the complete opposite. I believe I've said it before prior, I don't like to raid anymore because the vibes feel different in my opinion. I don't enjoy it like I did in Dragonflight. The team back then made it fun, not so much anymore.
But anyways, moving on to shit I enjoy...

Player housing!!!
Did I think I was gonna enjoy it as much as I do?
No I did not. I mean I did enjoy building in Palia, but I've been playing WoW for almost 20 years but never just staying in one place working on building something. The norm was going out to kill shit, not making cutesy cutesy shit in my house. But I do and I love it. So much so that I'm thinking of making another screenshot blog on all the shit I make in my housing. Ugh but I really gotta think about that cuz I've made and deleted so much stuff and I'd have to go back in my screenshot folder and sift through thousands of screenies. Next season, I plan on utilizing the shit out of the Blueprint system. Just for the simple fact of regret. I have deleted rooms and instantly regretted it in the past. I just go through fits and just get in a delete happy mode and hit that button with no hesitation. Granted I've deleted and remade the dame thing but in my opinion better then I did prior. I see it as a learning experience.
A lot of the stuff in my house are of my own brain baby, BUT I will admit I do get ideas from content creators. I can't however follow it to the T. They have videos where they show every piece they used step by step how they built it, but I can't follow that. Can't/don't want to. I see a creation and I try to make it myself. Majority of the time It's me just utilizing the items I do have. If they're using an expensive ass item that either costs a butt load to buy off the AH and my alts don't have that pattern to make it yet, I'm gonna make something else. The biggest struggle is my floorplan, I haven't mastered that yet. I struggle with that the most on where I want rooms and how I want my house set up. But anyways. I'm gonna end this one here, I'm tired. I'll most likely get another housing Blog out I'm sure, maybe on my weekend. ok...ok bye.

Hey! is this supposed to be December's post? Yeah it is!
You know, I really dont know why I don't just skip a month if I miss it. I'll write about it as far as I can remember.
But anyways!
OK so December... where the frick did you go. went by so fast, well the last several months of the year went by real quick.
Winter Veil happened. I don't think there was anything new from the Yeti boss daily. Greatfather Winter's presents did have I think two new items. Nothing exciting for the event this year. It's fine tho. I didn't mind it as I was occupied with other things. What we're those other things?
Well I can tell you what was not taking up my time... fuckin Remix!
Remix ending in a couple of days and I didn't get everything that I wanted, especially all the achieves, but I did get majority of what I wanted with the bronze. I DIDN'T get all the decor I wanted. All this shit I didn't get is depressing, but that's my fault. I had the opportunity to play Lemix and I just decided not to. Kept looking down in the lower right corner of the toon select screen and said "meh, I'll log on tomorrow and grind". Tomorrow came and went and what did I feel like doing instead?...
PLAYER HOUSING!
Well ok, it was a bunch of other stuff too, not only player housing. I will say that the only thing in Beta I did was player housing. I'm not very good at decorating I'm quickly learning. Especially when you watch youtube vids of what people come up with, so amazing. I don't want to build my house by making things exactly what they build so I watch and I try to get the gist of what they're doing. this pic to the right is my first ever attempt at player housing in beta.
It's no secret that I enjoy collecting. I love going out and collecting the decor. Right now I'm working on Legion class hall stuff. I really should be working on my alt's professions and levelling them so I can learn to make all the deco. I got my housing to level 5 on Dec 7th. that was pretty fast imo.
It helped that alot of the deco came from achievements and I have a bunch of those 😄 Then at the beginning of the month I got my 500 deco achieve. that one was a surprise. I don't believe theres a 600 achieve. It's ok... I'm sure they'll bring it in the game soon.
I'm super excited for prepatch next week. Endeavors are gonna be added and more decor! YAY!!! I gutted the shit out of my house and I was starting to build all over again, but I'm never satisfied with my builds and room floor plans so I always wanna change it. Currently only my Fel/Warlock room is complete.
I have prior screenshots of stuff I build so I might make a separate post for those. I had made cute windows scenes, a rock spa, pantry, goldfish pond and an aquarium. I since deleted all of it. If I do bring them back at least I know what I did and how I need to tweak them to make it look better.

December's trading post was a semi-save month. I say semi cuz although I only bought a few things, they were not cheap. The most notable is the Elderhorn mount, a baby seal and the Noble's Winter outfit. I bought a couple of other stuff, but nothing too crazy that I was able to make it out of the year with over 1k tender. So yay for that. I like the months when the returning items are ones I've already bought... gives my tender bank a breather. I don't need new stuff, I just need more tender... well, for the new stuff of course, duh!

And lastly, I finally got the meta achieve. Truth got it a long time before I got mine. we both just needed the Flames Radiance rep. He went to several events without me, but I'm pretty sure I was having a cranky day, which to be honest I've been having a lot of those lately. He'd ask and I would just say "go without me, I'll get the achieve when I get it" I knew it was inevitable as I only had several more ranks to go and it was pretty easy to get the rep.
But anyways!
I popped on New years! YAY!!!
Geargrinder mount for me!!!! It's suck a cool ass looking mount. I'm so stoked I got it.
OK It's super late and I'm so tired. I know I'll ramble on about more stuff after the prepatch on Tuesday so goodnight.
ok, ok bye!
