3K io... LETS GOOOOOO!!!!!

 

This just happened!

YAY!!!! super jazzed, yeah yeah I know, I said I wasn't gonna push after the 2800. But I love my boys so much they were all trying to get me to 3K, so really all the credit goes to them. I don't feel like it was a full on carry cuz I held my own for most of it. At least I think I did. Last week I should have pushed my low tyrannical keys cuz I could have gotten alot of io from those ones below 20. Next week's affixes are doodoo so I think no one is gonna really push next week, well so they say, but I have a feeling they'll still run them.
Anyways, just wanted to share my feat I thought I was never reach.  And I know for alot of people these 22-24s aren't even hard, but for someone who isn't very good at this game, I think this was a huge accomplishment and I'm proud of myself.

Truth, Shifty, Sawce, Stank, Lumi, Chris all helped me get this.

Love (heartbreak) update

Welp...
Another sad Love is in the Air event has passed and another thing to add to my heartbreak list.
First lets start with the positive report. Like the Lunar fest, I didn't have to run as much different toons as I thought I needed to to get all the tokens for the toys/pets/and mogs I still needed, I think I got them all in like 5 days running only 3 toons regularly with the dailies. So THAT part wasn't bad. 

I got an awesome toy, the Date Simulation Modifier, that changes the sky to four different ways. I love this so much! its sooo cool. I went to the places that I knew the sky does not change and set it down. The pic to the left is of Oribos. Sky never changes... but sure as shit does with this toy!!! Waaaay cool! I'm in the process of writing a story with this toy. If I actually finish it today or tomorrow, I'll put a link in here.

Two new achievements were added and I failed to get one of them. Feralas daily that you have to talk to people and give them gifts, I was not sure how to do them in the beginning and I should have read on it first. I really didn't think it was gonna be an RNG thing. Not only are the gifts you get random, but the Daily cycle for the quest are as well. and I think I missed one as I didn't check one day. I still needed to give 2 gifts to people at the end of the event. /sadness. Oh! and the achievement is not account bound so I HAD to do them all with my main.  Right is a pic of the Heartseeker Mana Ray you buy with 270 tokens. so yay I got that!

Bought two things in the Blizz store this month. The Twilight Pack.
Came with a Twilight Witch mog and the Twilight prowler. Both are the same models as the ones from the traders post this month, just purple versions. Also there was a murlock modifier toy. Makes you turn into a murlock... It was so funny! It sets out a monument and I believe others can click it as well. I might have to drop that in raids. 
Anywhos, for the Twilight pack, I originally saw it and thought nah I don't want it, but I bought one and sent it to a friend as a birthday gift and then thought fuck it! I need this too! I LOVE the color pink over purple, but I liked this mog better as it does have black in it. and I bought the matching staff in the traders post too so one of my toons will eventually be rockin this mog.... Just not my main.

I saw 4 guildies get it and one of them got it twice (main and alt). The last day, I could have ran them all by 10am (the end of the event) but I really didn't feel like it. I felt so defeated by the end of this. Like always I will still try next year and hope for a drop, but until then I will stay salty as heck. Yeah yeah, I know I won't use it, but I'm a collector! I want EVERYTHING!
But really I hope this was not the case, but I was reading on Wowhead that people were saying that if you got the rocket already, it was bugged that the skin would not drop for you. I was trying to read if people had the rocket and still got the skin, but I got tired of scrolling. I really don't think this was an actual bug rather just people making up reasons for their shitty luck. Either way, I did not get it. Yet another person that religiously plays this game everyday, tries so hard and gets rewarded with disappointment and nothing to show for it. Such as life. Too bad, so sad.
Alright I'm done... I'm gonna go wipe away my tears.

Feb randomness

I'm kidding! I do my grey parse part in those keys. I've made the decision, I will not push to 3k. Ask me in a month tho ha! I think I'll only go as far as to get all 20 keys for Fortified and Tyrannical... thats good enough for me. I have a couple 18s and 19s left. Oh! and last night I did do my first 24 key!! Alright moving on...

This week saw my first full M+ slots filled with mythic gear options. part of me was hoping I wasn't gonna get anything that I needed because I do still need gem slots for my gear. But I did have myth pants in the vault so I grabbed those. Legs are not really part of my 4 piece, but I have seen some good Demo locks rockin tier legs so that made my decision for me. If they don't have the 5 piece, then they don't use gloves. I am really collecting gear to see what works for me.

Garrosh finally gave it up!!!! I'm too lazy to log in and see how much kills this took me. I'ma guess less then 30. And I'm sure that even tho I'm taking this place off the list, I'll replace it with another mount I want from another old raid. Maybe Hellfire Citadel or Nighthold. Oh scratch that, I believe I've talked about the no skip for those yet, and I still have not gone to find out how to do those skips.

Next on my list of things to talk about... People posting things on the AH for less then what you can vendor them for. I feel like I've talked about this before, but I can't be sure. why? do they not see how much you can sell them for?, do they just want to help out others get the items just short of giving it to them? One will never know I guess.

I'm sure this next one is an issue with other people and not just me.
Crafting orders...
Why the fuck would I, or anyone for that matter, craft something that would cost us a shit ton of gold, for you to only put a 10g tip? are they hoping that people don't notice the crap tip, or are they just hoping for that nice person that will do it to help out a cheap bastard? When I was looking for my first craft for knowledge points, I wanna say I have done this. I'm more keen to help someone that tips crap but they have all the mats. as long as I have crafting charges, I'd usually do it. I love when I resource proc some expensive mats... dracothyst from crests, heck yeah! but yeah so I usually put the cheapos on my ignore list. Oh and speaking of ignore lists, I really need for Blizz to up the amount of people you put on the list. I'm always maxing out the list and then I have to delete and re-ignore everyone all over again. AND they should make the list account wide. I hate loggin into an alt and seeing the same fools that spam trade for their sell carries popping up on trade chat. 

This was funny. I've mentioned before about the people that assume everyone that plays this game is a dude... I got a "broski" the other day! I crafted something for this person and then answered a question he had. I never correct them, I just giggle to myself. I don't get upset like I've seen other chicks do. That annoys me that they get annoyed by it. Bitch just play your game and hush your mouth. Nobody cares that you don't have a penis. Oh boy I'd get so much shit from feminists eh? oh well!

And my last thing to talk about...
I have the best guildies! Well the ones that don't give a shit about mount collecting and just give me stuff! Lumi gave the Reigns of the Quantum Courser that dropped from Rise.  I opened it and I got the Mummified Raptor Skull that drops from BfA King's Rest! Holy shiiiit!!!!!
and Shifty had given me his before and that one gave the Swift Zulian Panther from Zul Gurub. I was super excited for that one cuz I've been farming for that one and Armored Razzashi Raptor from there. So I just go in there every so often for the raptor.

February Holiday Events

It's that time again, Love is in the air and the grind is back... /sigh
ok ok, I know it's a choice for me to do these till my fingers bleed and my heart breaks but it's what I enjoy so much... I'm always hopeful that I will get what I work so hard for. I'm trying to keep the Brewfest dragon skin grind out of my head right now and not get discouraged. I don't think I put all my effort into that one from the start though sooooo I'ma go with that being the reason I failed to get it. I believe I got all the toys tho sooo that Holiday event wasn't a total bust.

Anywhos! Lets get on with this.
The month of Feb has so much things for me to do. First, the trading post has a crap ton of things that I want and I'm a little peeved that I can't get all the stuff that I want. If Blizz sold traders tender again in the website, I'm pretty sure I'd go and spend RL money on it just to buy all my trading post shit.

Next, Lunarfest runs from Feb 3rd till the 17th. I didn't really do these last year as there was no more achieves to get and I didn't care to check on the toys and mogs. When I went there this year I saw soooo much mogs and some toys and I needs them all, along with a hearthstone toy. like I said, I'm not sure if they added it last year as I didn't check, at least I don't think I checked.  But yeah, I saw ALOT and I knew I was gonna have to get them on more than my main but I didn't calculate how much toons I'd have to go around collecting the Lunar coins with. Turns out no alot. As of writing I gotten all but 3 things! one toon can get like 4 or 5 things if I get all the coins in Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms/ Wrath and some dungeons. Well shit, this will go by fast. By the end of today I can get them all and not have to do anymore Lunarfest stuff, thank goodness!!!!

On to Love is in the Air!

This one runs from Feb 5th to the 19th.

Sooooooo, I completely forgot about the Dragon skin mog for this event! I was prepared to NOT have to run the holiday boss for a mount and get discouraged every time because last year I got my Pink Love Rocket!!!! Just for nostalgia reasons, at the end of this entry, I'll put several entries I wrote about this Holiday event from previous years.
But anyways, so this year, yes I have to run the holiday boss for the mog skin, I also have to consistently do the quests and dailies on several toons JUST to get the new mogs, toys, AND mount. Yes another mount, but this one like the Love bird, you buy with the tokens. 

Thank goodness. I rather grind for the tokens then have another thing to be disappointed in not having drop for me. Its ugly, but its pink, and of course, I still need it. I'm sure I'll ride it once, get my screenie and never ride it again. I like how they advertise for it by the vendor by having one tied to a post with a leash. There's a few love boats for sale too. I have seen one person in the wild riding on. I'm not sure if it's like the raft and the Tuskarr dinghy and you can fish on it, but I'm so ready to find out for myself. And also there's a bunch of rose mogs to get. those are cheap so I think I'll just have my alts that I'm not taking to do the quests daily to go and buy them. I WILL get everything this year... oh I will.

So the first couple days of this event I kinda messed up. I was dumb and I took most of my 50+ toons in the Holiday Boss. Weeeeeelllllll, for the ones that are not 60 yet, I wasted my time. I just read yesterday that the mog only drops for toons level 60+... oh for fuck sake! I mean 8 toons isn't too bad, It would have been more if I didn't read it. Makes sense since 60 is when you go to the Dragon Isle so I wasn't cranky or anything. Yes I am still tracking my runs and as of today (3 days into the event) I have ran this 51 times (not counting the 8 low toons) on 17 toons. I know the drop chance is better on the first run of the day, but I still try. And for my love tokens, I will need 1145 to get everything that I want. If I get them all early I will most likely just farm to get coins to buy the Love bird, hold it and sell it later in the year. I haven't done that in a while, but a guildie reminded me of it yesterday. 

Alright and FINALLY! This week is also Darkmoon Faire and yet another month is going by that I have not went down to fish up some fish heads. Sad times, well at least I've been not smelling all fishy lately. HA!

Cave fishing for the Riding turtle

I would not have known this Turtle mount was achievable if someone didn't spam in trade about it. The mount is the Riding Turtle, a TCG mount, but blizz put it in the game as something that you can fish up in your Draenor Garrison if you have the rank 3 Fishing hut. 
The person making the group had a rank 3 fishing hut so anyone can get a chance at fishing it up. Mine is rank 3 however fishing in a group is greatly beneficial as the things we fish up and throw back to spawn a cavedweller that we kill and loot for the mount chance... sooo more people, more chances.

The group was really good and very supportive of others trying to get this mount. Some thought that this was the best place to catch another mount the Sea turtle in here. From what I read you do have a chance to get it here, but I don't think this was the best option to fish it up here.
I caught mine back in Wrath in Moa'ki Harbor in Dragonblight. It didn't take me long from what I remember. The person making the group was after this one as they already caught the Riding Turtle.

However this was NOT the end of my time here fishing. I wanted to help others BUT I did have an ulterior motive... I still needed Nat coins to buy a mount from Nat. I really didn't think I would get this one cuz I've been trying to fish for coins since WoD and I've only got 20... the mount costs 100. But while I was fishing for the mount, I gathered 40 coins... I needed 40 more!!! so after I got the mount, I was willing to stay... to help others and to help myself of course! The group leader was done for the night but said he would post for another group the next day. I said I'd watch out for the group and help them (and myself) tomorrow.

Next day came and I looked for the group, joined and continued my fishing. Some others from the night before joined again as well, and I saw some of them get their mounts... YAY!!! I fished for my coins and finally collected my 100. Went to Nat and bought my Crimson water strider mount. Im so happy!!!! I'm officially done fishing in WoD! 
But still, as I do, stay and help others.  
Also may I note another dumb thing that made me smile...
I loved that the group called me "Skully" even tho they didn't know me. <3
