More stories please

I miss writing my stories... the few people that read my blog did enjoy them, and asked me why I stopped. RL happened and I didn't have the motivation I think. I do miss it. It's sense of joy I got when I completed one. As ridiculous as they were the main thing is I had fun making them. Taking the screenshots, not always taking them with the intention of making a random story out of them either. All I do is go to work and come home, very rarely do I go out with friends. So you'd figure I'd have a lot of time... haha very true, so what the hell is the hold up? I don't know tbh. I have so much drafts, unfinished stories and uploaded screen shots just waiting for writing to go along with them. Im always torn about how long I make them. I've had short ones, extremely long ones and the most recent had to be a 2 parter because it was getting to long. My last "Deadskully's WoW Adventures" was back in January before RL got interesting to say the least. I am looong over due to make another. :-) I'm off on Tuesday... PATCH DAY!!!! so while WoW is down, I'll prolly get one out. Unless I decide to take an extremely extended sleep. That might happen instead hehe.

Guild leader venting

OK so this is a minor venting session about what frustrates me with being a good guild leader vs a not so good one. Well a successful in my opinion anyways.
And this is all just my opinion.
I know I can cry about it or I can do something about it and start my lvl 10 bank guild up as a legit one. BUT I know I don't have the time and or the patience for recruiting valid members.
Yes majority of the GMs now days have an addon that send invites out to guildless people or something(I really don't know how that works) and just mass invites that way just to lvl their guild.
A good guild master either personally has the time, or he has Co-GMs that he can trust to help take care of the guild while he can't. This includes scheduling Raids, RBGs, Weekly challenges, and even other random guild events. Show the guild you give a shit. You have so much power and you now have followers. Most don't understand how much guildies look towards their GMs for a lot of things. More ranks in the guild is always a must. You promote someone for helping and being involved in the guild and it makes them feel good, like their efforts are not going unnoticed. People that contribute so much to the guild bank and have to ask to be promoted to be able to take things out of the bank. A lot of people don't ask, but if you had an attentive GM, they shouldn't have to ask. I understand GMs taking the proper precautions with trusting people nowdays.  Ninjas are everywhere, but I think Blizzard does a good job to get that back. I had first hand experience with that :-) And of course I wouldn't just give access to the ones that don't contribute shit. Majority of the time, if they deposit , they wanna be able to take out. I don't have that problem. I deposit but I very rarely withdraw. I get my own stuff, and I make my own stuff. I ask no one for any help.
I am famous for guild hopping. When I used to run every faction daily for rep I knew that was alot of guild exp that was being wasted. I would always join lower level guilds and make it known that I'm there to help level, then normally I leave. I stayed in one guild for a while IIAsylumII. When GM and Officers were active it was a very fun guild. It's where I met Jugga. And we were on all the time. People get bored and they take extended breaks or even leave the game. GM and Co-GMs included. Not Good. So you leave because once GM is MIA the morale of the guild goes with it. Nothing gets scheduled, no one gets promoted and people feel the need to jump a sinking ship. Some people like that, they're in a lvl 25 guild and it's quiet and they're just there for the perks. I'm like that on my lower lvl toons on different servers. They are alts and I don't care to make friends. Let me get my perks, lvl my toons and you all can suck it, kidding.But seriously I can see where the people come from that don't wanna do anything for the guild just get perks and that's it.
I'm sure I'll think of other to vent about this subject, but I cant think right now.
Bottom line is: You can't Be a successful GM if you don't have the time, Co-Gms to help you out. and Don't expect your guild to thrive into a successful one if you don't care about the people in it. the ones that are helping level your guild.

Double Agent Achieve

On 2/17/13 I made a post about the Double Agent Achievement and I plotted out how I would be getting it. 4 months later I got it.

I am so glad I stalled on getting this achievement sooner. During the time I gotten this achievement, Blizzard had a sale on all Character services for 50% off. So I would be spending $30 total. This included name change, race change, faction change, Server transfers. I had to jump at this chance to get this achievement for half price. After this was done and Monk logged on I linked him my achievement and this was me crying to him about the disgust with I felt for doing this. lol
Babyskully was a cute Human I must admit, but it just wasn't right. I did toy around with the idea of keeping her as an Alliance toon, but that quickly slipped out of my mind. Dirty dirty thoughts.

3 day cool down on bringing her back to Horde. She waited so patiently... like a real trooper.

Retired Account

As of today I turned off auto payment on Jace's account. I will admit it was a sad day and it killed me to do it considering it is technically my account. it was given to me and besides 4 toons, I consider the rest mine. I leveled them and I took care of them. and I made them Horde spies (the ally toons) and bitch mules working the Alli AH. Sooo I am including screen shots of the toons in honor of the awesome fun they have provided me over the past 6+ years.

6!!!!!....7!!!! ... and my new friend

Ok so my 6th toon to 90 didn't really get an actual entry in here. I'm guessing cuz it was over shadowed by the fact that it was the toon that popped my Quintessential Quintet achievement. But when I look back on it, the whole entry wasn't that long anyways.

Sooo I will put it right here. On 1/17/13, Killmecow my Death Knight was questing in the Dread Wastes ready to hit 90. Along comes a Panda Monk named Jackichanda who offered to quest with me as we make our way to 90. How nice I thought and accepted the invite. Quested for a bit and I dinged! Woot! Im not too clear on why we stopped. Did I say I had to log?. which would have been really mean because this nice guy helped me get to 90 and I just bailed on him? Or did he have to go?... I will never know. Anywhos, before logging he gave me his real ID. He also has a ton of alts and likes to play with them all so that would be the easiest way. So I typed in the email and it said "request sent"... nothing was "accepted". alrightee no new friend for me. About a month went by and I was on Killmecow one day and I get a whisper from the nice Monk. Told him what I did and think I typed in the email wrong because it looked a bit longer then what I had typed the first time. This time it worked and that was around the 20th of February.  So it took a month from the time I met this sweet monk in the dread wastes to the time I actually added and we started talking. And the rest is history. It's only been a month but it seems like longer.
Which brings me to my Next toon to hit 90. Christene my Mage. And you can guess who was there for that one too?... Kyle, on his lock Dubluv, came along with my mage. He dinged first and then I did a whiles later making this my 7th toon to hit 90!

Deadskully the Beloved

WOOT! and FINALLY! Ive been stuck on this for a while, of course. I tried to really push after MoP came out because of all the new factions I figured I would be able to get this easier. Weeeel, after I got to exalted with all the Panda factions, I needed 2 more to go. ARGH! I was stuck at 58. The closest ones were Ashen Verdict, Brood of Nozdormu, and The Black Prince. All stuck at revered, not really moving.

The Ashen Verdict was the next to hit, as you saw from a previos post with my LK kill. That one was easy to get and I dont know why I didn't do it waaaaay sooner. I mean come on, I always see people in trade LFM ICC. Part of that hesitation was the fact that I didnt want to be commited to just one thing for that next hour+... BUT really it doesnt even take an hour now. Silly me, what ever, I dont know these things.

Alright now one more to go!. Because Im done with my Klaxxi and Dominance Offensive rep I dont do the dailies anymore. Majority of the Black Prince rep came from doing those 2 dailies. So that would be a tough and loooong ass grind if I chose to do that next... so um yeah, no!

Then my last quick option was an Old world faction. Brood of Nozdormu is rep you get from running both AQ's. You can pick up sigils also to turn in for rep. 550 for each. I knew I couldnt get past the twins so I asked Monk if he could help me. And thank goodness he said yes. We went in there, I turned in whatever sigils I had then we started through. It took all the way to the last Boss kill for this to pop for me. FUCKIN SWEETNESS!!!

Picnic for one

I am so sad that I never got the pink rocket this year. At the start of the the Holiday Event I had a plan to run all possible alts in there everyday. Thats 8 all together in 14 days sooo, 8x14=112! I would have a hundred and twelve chances to open a stupid box and find a rocket. after about the first week I was getting tired running them all. I have tank and healer classes, but they are all DPS, as I never really tried to heal or tank anything ever, So you can just imagine all the time i wasted in DPS ques. Sometimes I would bug friends and ask then to come and give me a insta-que, but I always feel bad for asking, I know they have their own stuff to do. But they were always so nice and willing to help me out.

Anywhos, dispite the No Rocket for Skully! I did get the picnic basket, roses for the girls hairs, gas masks and 5 toxic oozlings. Now for the toxic oozlings because you can only learn 3 and they are soulbound when you get them out of the box, I had to learn them, then cage them and then sell them on the AH or give them away.and I already had one from a long time ago, I think I have one more to sell out of the 3.
