Late December update

December is almost done but ima still put this out since I had all the screeenies on here already. 

My 2024 WoW time towards the end of the year felt like it was getting less and less. Not quite sure why, maybe RL just got a little busier as well as just not feeling this expac so far. I'll never stop playing WoW, but I guess eventually everyone needs a break... Even this WoW psycho. I can still however write about what I have been doing, so as long as nothing happens to this blog, I'll keep putting shit out. 

Alrighty, for the December calendar, aside from all the Anniversary balloons cluttering up the days, there doesn't really look like a whole lot is going on here. Winter Veil started and I actually did not log on for a whole week. Did the 14th's Fishing Tournament and then didn't log back on until the 21st because I had to do the Fishing Tourney again. Only did the Fishing Tourney and some Anniversary stuff then logged. I don't know if they're gonna add it later but January's Darkmoon Fair is not on the calendar. It should have been scheduled on Sunday January 5th (the first Sunday of the month), but when I looked the last time, it wasn't there. I forgot what I wanted to do there, but I'm a little annoyed that this is the first time I didn't see one for the month. I need my FISHHEADS!!! Honestly, they might have skipped a month before and I just didn't notice. As I really don't do them religiously but this is the first time I noticed. But back to Winterveil! I didn't get presents from the tree, I didn't go kill the yeti in Hillsbrad, I hear he drops new stuff and he has a new ability. I saw there was a cute yeti pet with a present on it's back, and new mogs... Dammit I need to do the event!

The trading post has good stuff like always I want more then what I can afford. I really hate the traders tender. Always not enough to buy everything. I know they'll bring items back around, but it will be the same thing... I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FOR THIS!!!!
This super pretty flower staff was in my frozen slot and I bought this month. It was part of a 3 weapon set that I thought all of them were cool looking. I don't remember what I put in the frozen slot for this month.

Next! Although I have not returned to Midlife Gamers guild (currently guildless, not even in my bank alt guild), they did take me to get my AOTC. That was very nice of them. I really wasn't expecting to get it. 

and here's a funny error I saw on my achieve when it got marked off. The Spelunker Supreme achieve checked off "Attained 2000 M+ rating". The achievement is only for ONE of the 3 to be done so with the Queen kill, I would have got it anyways. For the M+ rating, I'm sitting at I think around 1700. Really not sure I'll hit my 2k this season, or any season after to be honest, but I'm ok with that... *cries*

And Finally!, Truth and I got our Green bike. Same model as the Doritos bike but it does have hidden stuff to it. You get it by doing secret shit for the anniversary event which to complete the secret stuff there's 12 steps, BUT this bike only requires you to get through 9 steps. We're waiting for the other steps to be posted. 
Incognitro, the Indecipherable Felcycle is what it's called and there's a special ability that gives you numbers to put in a code sequence that makes your bike so several hidden abilities. I didn't do them myself but I watched Truth do some. It's pretty neato idea I've never seen it done on a mount before. I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch of other stuff, but with me not playing WoW that much lately, I really can't think of anything.

I want my bike!

I never keep up with outside promotions for World of Warcraft so if I didn't hear this from a former guildie, I would not have even known about it. Just like the gummy worm pet from the Trolli gummy promotion. This promotion has a mount?!? I need it naturally...

Weeeell turns out this was labeled as "sold out" for a little bit on the MountainDew gaming site. When I heard about this I was sad, but was pretty sure this was only temporary. And yes, sure enough it was only temporary and they were back "in stock", well as much as any digital item can be. yeah that was sarcasm.

I was reading some comments and looks like speculation on why redemption was halted might have to do with people getting multiple item codes and selling them for RL money. Not super sure if MtnDew knew this was going to happen or even if they gave a shit. I mean hey, either way, their products are being bought regardless of who was buying them and for what reason. Mountain Dew wins here I guess.

So the website has the list of participating products and how much points each of them give. My focus was the bike and I wasn't sure if I was going to get the other rewards, so I just bought enough items for that. 3 chips and 3 sodas. I stopped at the corner convenience store that do not sell 12 pks so I made do with what I had. I didn't eat or drink all the items that night so I didn't redeem my mount right away. 

Oh! one of the pops were worth 200 points instead of 100 like I originally thought, AND! the chips codes were on the outside of the bag!

I just got done opening the 3 bags and putting the chips into a big ziplock bag then looked in the bag for the codes, and saw where they were. Um what? so if I was a shady person, I could have just took down the codes and not even buy the damn chips. It's sad cuz I know there are definitely people that would do that shit. Fuck that shit, I need to eat those chips!

Alright now I NEED ALL THE ITEMS!!!!

what's left? 1 belt, 2 pets (I already have Lil Raggy) and 2 aprons (tabards). Truth is so damn sweet he had extra points after he claimed his Blazecycle and he didn't care to get anything else. So he asked what I wanted and I said the belt. He redeemed it and sent me the code. YAY! now my skirt won't fall down! Its so cool looking, It's called a Bot Wrangler's belt. I think I need to use it to capture robots. Perfect! I need to get me 2 robot pets next!

Truth went to the store today and I swear I didn't ask him to, but like he does... nice shit for me. He got a 12 pk of pop and texted me the code. I was able to get the 2 bot pets and 1 apron (I picked the purple one). So I just need 300 more points for the last apron. That's just 1 pop and a chip bag! I'll grab that later this week from the corner store. 
I was really trying to think if I have done other promotions like this before...

I honestly can't remember. Do I like it? I think I prefer this one better then the Trolli pet promo which you had to take a picture of the receipt, submit it then wait about a week for them to respond. with this promotion, I'm sure if Blizzard wanted the items to be a bound to account restriction they could have made that happen. But I can see how difficult that would be as the redemption process is going through a 3rd party website that you do not link your Bnet to. And besides, what company would want to agree to the limited item restriction... that would significantly limit the sale of their products that they're trying to push. Take for example the different point values for the different products. Certain products on the list had different reward point values. I like the regular Mt Dew, but sadly it's only 100 pts. Whereas some special flavor bottles are 200 pts. Bitches I tell ya!! I can imagine MtDew warehouse has soda holding tanks that has a lot of the flavors that are worth more points and they just need to get rid of it. I'm kidding of course, I'm sure there's a more business relatable reason as to why the same ounce, same price, plastic bottle of soda have different reward point values.

November WoW update

 Alright let's do a Wow update I guess...
Anniversary balloons littering the calendar for the next few months. I have not really done as much with the event as I wanted to. I KNOW I won't get all the achievements done. Yes I know it goes until January 6th, but still... I think a couple have to do with the Blackrock Depths raid, and I don't see myself going in there again to complete the ones I've started. Sad...
BUT I'm really ok with not getting them. 
The easy achieves that I can get, I WILL get them. I think there was a couple still left. and I hit the 100 token mark so I really should just go and collect them for all the stuff that I wanted to buy. I think I got all the mogs I really wanted, but I still might as well try to get as much as I can. 
But anyways, HAPPY 20th WoW Anniversary!!

OK so the next one achieve I was trying for but not super focused on, but really wanted to complete it nonetheless. Saturday's Hallowfall fishing tourney has The Derby Dash fishing achieve... During your tournament time limit you have to catch all the fish on the list. The last one I needed and I'm sure this ended up being the very last fish for a lot of other people, was the Awoken Coelacanth. You need to throw 10 whispering stargazer fish into the waters of Azj-Kahet and you get a 5min buff that gives you the chance to catch this fish. I've thrown back hundreds of stargazers with nothing. I really don't know why I didn't think to look on Wowhead to find where the frick the best place to catch these are... until last night. I scrolled and saw a post that had a location, this person fished in the big pond near the City of Threads and caught in on their 3rd cast. I had less then 30 minutes left on my fishing tournament time and one tournament fish left to catch. 

I got sidetracked with doing world quests around the area but figured since the last fish was super easy... it was the whispering stargazer, and we all know where to find those pools. SO!  I booked it down to the pond. got on my fishing raft, threw 10 fish in the water, and cast my line, hooked a fish, clicked the bobber and BOOM!!!! I got the coelacanth and the achieve!!! YAY!!!! I was so relieved. I seriously was working on this forever. Well not every week cuz I either didn't log in all together, didn't do the tourney at all, or I got sidetracked and the tourney timer came and went. Oh shit! yeah the tourney timer! I forgot about the last fish! I was so stoked about my achieve! Went to catch it, easy!, caught it and flew back to turn it in, got my 10 tourney marks. YAY!

Soooo... with getting that achieve, and seeing my account wide point count. I hit 34k!!!
damn I need more! So I went to look in my profession ones for tailoring, enchanting and fishing. for those professions I only need 2 more for each. I feel like I've written about these before but I might have just started it and it sat in drafts...
anywhos, the fishing threads are easy enough, just gotta get the threads. I think for the enchanting crafting one I'm sitting at only 800 something, and I've never attempted the Elemental chatter effects so I'll have to read up on that one. and fuuuuuck the tailoring one! Either of the Razorfen dungeons can drop this pattern for the last Shirt I need to craft. When I remember, I go check the AH if someone put one up in hopes that they also just wanna sell it and/or are nice that they put it up for a decent price that I'd be willing to pay for. 

My last scan had someone selling this for 1.8 million gold... are you insane, I mean a rich collector might actually buy it for that much... not broke ass me. I've spam ran the dungeons a couple months ago and just got tired. I really want my achieve, but I really don't wanna spend hours in those dungeons... sadness, well, most likely I'll go do it again.

this was a complete accident I swear. I was making a new factory and saw a whole crap load of Doggos!!!! It looked like there was over 10 all in one place. I landed and they all scattered then when I was trying to dig in my bag to throw down some berries, I get rammed in the back by a stupid ass hog, then again... there was 2 small ones and one huge one. fricken shit! I panicked cuz at this point I was within an inch of my life, one more ram is gonna get me a one way ticket to deadville and a long way back from my hub. 

My panic got me grabbing my detonator and tossing down a nobelisk... then I got up far away and set off my detonator. SHIT! that was nuke!!!!I went back to see the devastation... The goal was accomplished, all the hogs were dead. But along with the dead hogs were about 3 dead doggos too. 
Nooooo!!!! whyyyyyyy!!! I didn't mean to do this! It was an accident!. 

I felt so bad after. Oh hey! more doggos were still alive and I finally was able to feed them properly.
I made a cage so they don't escape all over this place. 6 of them I sucessfully fed and befriended, and 4 of then actually stayed in the fenced area... I'm sure they'll find some way out here shortly.

Wow... Not WoW... How Satisf-ying

Yeah, this won't be a WoW post, as I have not been playing much of it this past week.  Been playing more Satisfactory and readin'. I know, me reading? whaaat? Bought a little Kindle 11 gen. It's super small and cute. I have sooo much kindle books I never read and a bunch that my sister sent me I figured it would be a good time to get in some reading.
But first! Let me talk about what I have been doing in SATISFACTORY!!!!
As of right now, I'm super into making blueprints. I'll pretty much just explain my blueprints with the screenshots I took.
Since I already beat the game (Sending off the last Space Elevator phase) I can just build shit and not have to worry about making specific items. Alrightee here goes...

First pic... Single item factory with back to back double storage bins and a dimensional depot with the option for a drone port. 
It has 3 smelters and 3 constructors.
I made the dimensional depot feed exposed just for aesthetics and to see if that item is maxed in the depot. I did not fully enclose this as half way through I was thinking that it might be something that I wanna add to another product factory. I have yet to use this blueprint.

Next is another one I have yet to actually use. I completed a basic 3m road loop around the world just hours before I decided to make this blueprint. Of course I took ideas from other people's blueprints with the train track, road and hypertube BUT a lot of them were too hightech for me. Ok so yeah I only made a straight segment. That's not gonna get me that far eh. I love my pink lights but it uses a shit lot of quartz crystals, fml! It uses everything in the dimensional depot so I'd have to carry a crap ton on me...

same thing with the previous blueprint... I have yet to actually use this one. but it's sooo pretty, I even set the street light to purple. ugh!!!

Next!

This double Drone Port is pretty sweet. everything is loaded and unloaded from the bottom. Both ports are hooked up for incoming and outgoing feeds with storage bins. Fuel can be fed into one bin and split to both ports. It's fully enclosed with metal walls, but I was debating on making it regular factory walls so I could color it all pink and blue. Well at least I made the railings pink with black accents. I remembered what happened with the previous one so I decided against lighting the fuck outta this one. But let's be honest, I was so close to trimming the shit outta this with pink lights HA!

This next one is my pride and joy...
a Bio Factory! 
In feeding: water, plastic, bio material
My first bio factory I got as a blueprint when I  started playing this game. Back when we had color cartridges from flowers we got when we picked plants and such. I seriously needed an updated one. Nothing I found on the Satisfactory Calculator website satisfied me. So what do you do when you can't find what you want... obviously you don't cry, but you make your own. 

It took me about an hour to make this... maybe longer cuz I did go afk for a little bit and I did make some finishing touches with signs and green lights and floor patterns. 

All in all I'm completely happy with the end result.

6 x 6, and maybe 1segment from the max height in the blueprint maker thingy. 
I initially wanted to make the bio fuel refinery on the 3rd floor but I was over the max height so I had to put it on the 2nd floor. So it's peaking up to the 3rd floor. 

I have 3 tanks for spare Bio fuel. When I need more packaged fuel, I'll just bring my building some plastic for the empty packages that they will fill.

Speaking of Bio Fuel... I never thought Bio Fuel was even remotely useful until I saw a video on YouTube. Might have been Kibits...
Bio Fuel does not get the initial boost, BUT it lasts so fuckin long. I can go so far with my jet pack on bio fuel. I use it over rocket fuel.

This factory is so beautiful.
I have cat walks above the machines, factory ceiling lights, everything is colored, the outside walls aren't just one big boring ass square block. Glass walls even are different. Concrete walls are colored with a tinge of green and the roof glass are different angle degrees to look like I'm allowing the factory some machine exhaust relief. Ugh! so beauts!

Outside awning above the pick-up/deposit area was not part of the blueprint, as well as the signs and lights. Sadly they could not be added to the blueprint because they were on the boarder of the blueprint maker, poops. BUT, I added them after placing the blueprint nonetheless and they look spectacular if I do say so myself.

So!
Plastic manual feeding for the packaging for the fuel. Wood, leaves and mycelia for the solid biofuel. Slugs for the power shards, and alien meat for the alien capsules. I made another factory that had the meat into biomass for the solid bio fuel BUT I don't have this being done in this factory... I'll explain why in a little bit.

Everything in this factory is being slooped. Including the liquid biofuel. 

With my 3 reserve tanks I don't mind having them in the waiting for when I need them to be packaged. I won't ever have an auto feeding of plastic as I only have one double bin for the Bio fuel and I only use it for my jetpack, so I don't need a crap ton of it.

NOW lets get into the "slooping stuff". Power shards and Alien Capsules to be specific...
I watched a video several weeks ago (before the patch update mind you) and I learned how to "dup" things. WTF!!!!??? this was the best thing EVAAAAAR!!!!!! I duped so much things. I was so happy! I had the chance to have power shards, tickets and hard drives up the ass!!!! this was an amazing glitch exploit!!! I wish I had known of sooner! I slowed down on "duping" because I was told I was being a cheater, and that didn't really sit well with me. So I stopped duping. Besides, I really thought this was not gonna be taken away as this is a single player game (with the occasional multiplayer option if you have friends) BUT come the update... you guessed it, this glitch was fixed. No more "duping". I was sad. I went back to my game and opened  some boxes and saw I had a bunch of duped hard drives obvi!
So today was the day this happened....

I maxed out on all my hard drive researches.
I've collected all the available alternate recipes I can with 76 hard drives left. Now that I think about it, I could have duped tickets instead of hard drives!

Ugh!!... alright. 
Anywhos, A funny story in the alternate recipes, today I was trying the utilize alternate recipes for a little encased industrial beam factory I made, but I was having the roughest fuckin time. I am used to the original recipe and I was fucking up so much trying to do this with alternate recipes. Simple shit. It was embarrassing. made me feel like a fuckin noob that didn't know how to make a fuckin' factory, a single item factory no less. 

Alright, my fingers are getting numb right now, so I'll wind this down now... last thing to talk about. Since I've been so focused on my blueprints I completely forgot that my nuclear power factory is NOT at all self-sufficient. So I went to check on it and fuck... my.... fuckin.... life!...
It was fucked!!! 
Everything was backed up. WHY?!?!?!?

Two major things happened, My nuclear rod production was halted because my encased industrial beam bin was empty. UGH!
So EVERYTHING! was backed up. 
My nuclear waste was backed up all the way to the "I'll deal with it later" bins. That' s when you KNOW this is bad shit happening.

Game face is on, we need to act fast!

Why did this happen?!?!?!?!?
I realized that 2 things actually happened.
Along with the encased beam stoppage, the residual water also backed up from the "getting rid of the waste" production. FML!!!
Alright, Solution for this one...

Wet concrete! I saw on a video that wet concrete alternate recipe was a good way for getting rid of residual water issues.. and fricken' shit! that's my issue! So let's get fuckin to it man!!!!

I have 5 big water bins and this still gets full hella fast. So solution, I put a drone port that brings in limestone to make Wet concrete with the residual water. So now I'm making wet concrete, and sinking it. I don't feel comfortable on having it feed into the machines that require concrete as this is not very self reliable yet either. when something with the waste management stops the water stops which will result in the water stoppage, so this is my issue, meh, anyways ways, I'm super trying hard to type but I'm finding it getting more difficult soooooooo I'll end it here.

Might be because I need to feel accomplished when I'm feeling like a piece of shit. I'm kidding, I think it's just that when I drink, I do my best thinking. I feel more focused on the useless things. Bye Panda remix... Hello new expac

I don't know how I feel about the huge fact that I didn't play much of MoP remix. 

MoP was one of my favorite expansions, I usually choose that timeline to level my alts, BUT... I was really not in the mood (yes 95% of the time Remix was active) to play it. I've Never, and I mean NEVER was one to get power levelled. So when it was offered to Truth and I we took it and something after that made me not want to play it again. I know, we didn't have to get power levelled, We're fuckin adults and it was completely our choice, but a retail guildie wanted to and it seemed too easy. Turns out it wasn't... the "levelling boost" only was until level 25 then we had to go the rest of the way. Well that was crap. I know I don't like getting fully carried and this was just a prime example why I don't like it. I HATE contributing nothing to a run. I hate seeing myself at the bottom of any meters, even below the damn healer. Being a caster getting carried, everything died so quick I hit jack shit. But really everyone besides the one doing the carrying, was in there for the same reason, for power levelling carries. Then when Truth and I were told to go level the rest of the way or some shit, I said Fuuuuck that and pretty much never played remix again. I've posted about my MoP mounts, and I think I wrote that I got all of the ones that I was farming years for in retail but NOT all of the new remix ones. Getting ALL the different mounts were such a huge appeal to me before Remix launched, but then I came to terms with the fact that I was not ever gonna get them. Even after the whole levelling fiasco, I was planning on going back in there and farming for Bronze and finishing my collecting... that never happened. And when I lost my interest in playing Remix.

The War Within is here!!!!!
Soo I did take longer then usual levelling then prior expansions I believe. I'm sure I wrote about it but, I'm NOT going back to old entries to find out for sure... 2 days. Well lets see, the early access launch was 3pm on the 22nd and I hit 80 on the 24th. Not making excuses (I kinda am) I really wasn't too focused on levelling as quick as possible, and I worked Thursday and Friday.  Like every expac, so much to do and I'm usually not the type of person who will look everything up prior to new content going live. So I'm taking the time to learn everything as it happens, this being how my talents work, how professions work, Delves, zone events and just the general quests.
Everything is new and you'd think I'd be super excited to play, but I really haven't been. Hearing everyone in guild complain about bugs and nerfs to their classes really takes the fun out of stuff for me. I have a difficult time tuning things out and I can't just not read guild chat. I know I know, just close out the gchat tab, but like I said... it's easier said then done with me, especially since I'm in an officer position, and even though the issues and drama does not stem from the people in my guild and they're directed at Blizzard, it's drama nonetheless that I can't fix. 

Alright, let's turn this drab ass blog around shall we.
Fun stuff... I've never really levelled my main toon with someone else, and I usually prefer to do it solo, but Truth needed to level his Priest, so I "allowed" him to tag along. He needs so much help, ya know. I'm kidding, he helps me out a lot, especially since he did it all on his Demon Hunter, he knew where to go and stuff so it definitely made it faster. I think I was gonna be looking at a 4 day level 80 trek, but he cut that in half for me. Prolly cuz I would have been too busy taking screenies of the new stuff. Running with someone else puts pressure on me to not fuck around and get sidetracked like I always do.
OK so Truth just happened to go back to Dragon Isles and the last thing he needed for Taivan was up. YAY!

I'm not the biggest fan of dynamic flight and so I usually like to just go with normal flying, well in order to have the switching option and go back to normal flight, you need to complete the Pathfinder achievement. I was super cranky that I didn't get it quick and it wasn't until 4 days after I apparently got this achievement that I noticed I had it. the only reason why I knew I even had it was that I went to check what the requirements were and turns out it was friggen there already. WTF!!! how did I not even see this pop. I didn't look at it to begin with to see what I needed to do. thankfully, I love questing and I try to complete them all. Turns out, all it was was finishing quest lines. YAY normal flight!!!!

A fun in-game feature they added that I'm getting a kick out of is the Arachnophobia mode. This thing makes me smile so much. The spiders and some Nerubians turn into Makrura clackers and crabs. This is so hilarious to me. I changed it to see what it looks like, but then I never changed it back. mainly because I forgot to, but also I love seeing everything as crabs. I don't have a problem with spiders or anything but it's just funny. My spider pets and mounts are CRABS!!!!
Now that I've said all that, I realized it might have all sounded insensitive to the people that actually suffer from arachnophobia. I'm completely not taking away from that actual condition.... 

what am I talking about. this is MY blog... spiders are welcome!!! arachnophobia people suck it!. well fuuuuck. now I'm gonna have nightmares about spiders aren't I... geez.

Last thing... for now because I can't remember everything I wanted to talk about....
Dalaran sewer turtle pet you can get in Dornogal. a little collecting chain you need to do to get it, but when you do it's super cute. 4 little turtles with scarves in colors of the Ninja Turtles around their necks. When you get the pet and you summon it, the scarves' color change. but it is at random so if you want a specific color, you need to re-summon the pet. Personally I love Michelangelo, so I re-summon it until I get the orange.  But I noticed Leo's blue color comes out the most. Ah well, I like Leo too.

Well, this is awkward...

I've been extremely unmotivated to post anything for a while. I have unfinished drafts with pics but I had very little interest to finish them. mucho apologies. Aside from not finishing them, There was a stint of lack of WoW interest as well. Not too sure why. Maybe Season 4 content didn't really grab me and my "collector" interests didn't really satisfy me either. I was pushing for pets and achieves so much towards the end of Season 3 I think I just got super burnt out. I still haven't been looking forward to loggin on to do stuff either. My guild activity or lack thereof, has been really toned down. I'm not taking a bunch of screenshots, I'm not having interest in trying to get the guild to do anything. Granted, a lot of people have slowed down their playing until next expansion. The core are still playing though so that's a good thing.

With that being said, I was carried to my 3K for season 4. 527 item level is most likely the highest I'll go, well 528 in my bag, but I swapped a piece out for stats. 

My boys tried their hardest to get me my 3K despite my kicking and screaming to do anything higher then a 8. They were successful. They kept looking at my raider io and I won't lie, it does feel good to see some numbers. A lot of them really don't mean anything as it is season 4 and most players have been poking around in beta, Panda remix and just stopped altogether... but still I was super proud of myself. As of tonight these were my numbers. 6th on realm for Demo locks and 14th for all locks!. I'll never see these numbers again, sooooo naturally I had to record this shit as a reminder that I did do it once upon a time.

Ok so next thing... My pets!!! I hit 1400 and I completely wasn't keeping track of it. Truth gave me a pet I didn't have and it popped. YAY! and the reward was the secretive frogduck. It's so cute, and looks like he's up to something. I haven't been keeping up with pet battles and my warcraftpets score and I think I got Truth into pet battles. HA!

Now for the next achievement. 1600!!!!

well maaaaaybe I won't grind out for this one. seems too far off to get. ugh! but but but, Violet Violence pet looks really pretty. it's purple! 

Ok and now to end this quick post...
As the last post explained, I have been playing different games which I knew was a bad for my WoW time. If I play a game that I like, I will play it to the fullest and I find it difficult to switch. WoW being that perfect example. I immerse myself into a game fully for a long time. I know I will always come back to WoW but it will take a backseat for an extended period of time. I mean I guess now is the best time for it. Not much going on in WoW right now so might as well right. Cripes! I forgot about the pre-expac event. gosh dang it!
Ugh, take back everything I said, I need to play more wow until I get everything from that!!!

Where's Skully gone?!?

Getting a couple questions on where I've been lately, I figured it's time to explain. 
I've been spending all my time in Palia. It's a new(ish) Multiplayer online game. I say newish because it's been out for a hot minute now but it's still in beta. It's a cosy game with no combat threat to your character. You build friendships with villagers, forage for materials, build homes on your land plots. Make gold to upgrade items from farming your garden, hunting, mining and fishing, etc. You know, the normal cosy game shit. I've heard it has a Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing feel. I have only played Animal Crossing so I can't comment on the other, but yeah, reminds me of animal crossing, just way better.  

Right now the game is completely free on Steam BUT!!!! There is an ingame store for cosmetics that will be the death of me. So much cute, cool friggen outfits. I will not mention how much of my RL money I have actually spent, but let's just say it's not enough because I want/need more stuff. There's so much detail in these outfits and you can buy them as sets with a 3 for 2 discount or individual outfits that most come with about 3 color variations you can switch out. I love this so much. So let's just say they can make their money from the ingame store rather then charging for this game.

So Skully, you don't like to play/try new games how did you stumble upon this?
Blame Truth. I've been hanging out with him way too much and he's the bad influence.  Totally kidding of course, but he knows what games I like to play and suggested we play it. I'm not disappointed. The term "obsessed" is pretty much accurate right now on my feelings towards it. Go to work, come home, play Palia is my current routine. 

Watching youtube videos of people's builds are so fascinating to me. I wish I had that creativity. My decorations around my plot looks like a hot mess. I know I know, but they have unlocked so much more cool stuff cuz they've been playing longer... but still. And It should be so easy, they give tutorials, but I'm the type of person that I can't sit through a video and copy it exactly, I just wanna see it and duplicate the gist of what they were going for. Something's I'm doing a good job at but other's man... the time it takes to do all of it and place everything so nicely I can't seem to grasp.
But the main thing is Truth and I are having fun playing this game. And I'm pretty sure even when he stops playing this game, I'll still be playing it. 

Right now, WoW is taking a major back seat. I haven't even logged on in a couple days. Just not feeling it. I think a lot of people are. We all just waiting for the expansion to come out, but to be honest, if I'm still as engrossed in Palia then as I am now, I might not even wanna play as much as I used to. Just feels different.

I have 2 blog entry drafts that I have not had the urge to finish. One was about Panda Remix and the other just my usual update. But oh well, maybe I'll get those out, maybe not... we shall see. Again... I'll blame Truth... kidding.

And I'm struggling to keep up with my daily screenshots. I used to have so much and just pre set post them, but unless I go through old screenies, I really won't have much for those. I'm super tempted to change it to Palia screenshot-a-day... HEY! that's not a bad idea!
