OK So the story on how and when I got Ashes.Well we all know Ashes of Al'ar comes from Kael'thas Sunstrider from Tempest Keep. Every week I run Deadskully in there to solo it, and Babyskully still needs help so my friend Krypt always came to help me.
He always said he would pass on it if we ever did see it drop, but I really wasn't expecting him to actually pass. And honestly I wouldn't have minded if he did roll.
Just so happens that when Krypt came to visit me in Vegas, we ran TK the night he arrived (3/7/14) and Ashes DROPPED!!!... and true to his word, he passed and let me have it. I don't think I screamed but I did get choked up a bit and wanted to cry. It was a beautiful thing.
Krypt sat right next to me I think I grabbed onto his arm for dear life and didn't let go. lol That was my lucky charm.And like I knew it was gonna happen, I am so used to using my Headless Horseman Mount to fly, so when I remember, I'll click on Ashes.
